On the morning of October 21th, 2013, Vinh Phuc People’s Committee celebrated twinning agreement signed between Chungcheongbuk, Korea with Vinh Phuc province. Attending the meeting included: Mr. Lee Si Jong, Governor of Chungcheongbuk Province (South Korea); Mr. Oh Nak Young, the Korean Envoy Ambassador in Vietnam. About the Vinh Phuc province included: Mr. Phung Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Tri, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee cum Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Ha Hoa Binh Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee cum Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee. Representatives several of departments and agencies in the province.

On October 15, 2013 Mr. Phung Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee worked with US enterprises led by Mr. Richard Rivkin- General executive Director of Saf- T- Gard International Company (United State of American) to research the investment environment and make a survey the technical infrastructure of industrial zones. Attending the meeting included: the leaders of Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Construction, Department of Natural resource and Environment, Department of Foreign Affair, Industrial zones and Management Board and Investment Promotion Agency.

Health care and Medical Service Company Ltd., has held a Ground breaking ceremony to build the Centre of Health care and Medical Service in the Hop Chau Commune of Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province. The project has a total investment capital of approximately 125 $ million.

During the last two years, the province’s investment promotion work has been much renovated. Together with synchronously implementing methods of business, investment climate improvement and the province’s competitive capacity enhancement, Vinh Phuc has changed the direction of the investment promotion work by selecting investors with financial ability, projects matching with the province’s potentialities and strengths. Accordingly, the investment promotion activities have initially promoted the effectiveness and attracted a number of domestically and internationally new investors and projects.
