At the afternoon of July 18, 2013, Vinh Phuc province’s delegation, including leaders of Vinh Phuc’s Party Committee, People’s Council and a number of Vinh Phuc’s departments, headed by Mr. Nguyen The Truong – Deputy Secretary of Provincial Standing Committee cum Head of the Provincial People’s Congress delegation held an investment promotion seminar in Seoul, South Korea. Two agencies, Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea and Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), assisting Vinh Phuc’s delegation to organize the seminar attended the seminar and delivered speeches.

Chungcheoungbuk province is located in the center of South Korean peninsula, close to Seoul capital and the only province abutting against the sea. The province has a population size of about 1.6 million; an area of 7,433 km2; administrative units with 3 cities and 9 districts under the provincial government; GDP per capita of about USD30 thousands (ranking Korea’s seventh). On June17, 2013, Nippon Paint Vietnam Co., Ltd holds the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction advanced Paint Factory in Ba Thien II industrial zone (Binh Xuyen district). On the morning of May 28, 2013 at VCCI office (VCCI), representatives of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee and Vietnam Chamber of commerce and Industry (VCCI) has agreed to work with the contents of each specific collaboration agreement signed by two sides dated April 11, 2013. Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency sent attendees as agency with a lot of contents in the partnership agreement.

Being a part of preferential ODA loans Agreement, the project of Vinh Phuc investment climate improvement in the fiscal year 2006 was signed between Ministry of Finance, Vietnam and Japan Bank for International Cooperation. Vinh Phuc People’s Committee sent a delegation team, participating short-term training and Investment Promotion Fair in Japan, on the planning of deployment software of Vinh Phuc investment climate improvement project. The team had four representatives of: Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency, Office of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee and Agency of Vinh Phuc investment climate improvement project.
