On the occasion of 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Japan

Attending included: Mr. Saita Yukio, and Japanese counselor Ambassador in Vietnam; the representative of the leaders of Central Party Committee Foreign Affair, Committee on international Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of Agencies, Japanese’s organization  and business  is operating in Hanoi and in Vinh Phuc province. Attending the meeting included: Mr. Phung Quang Hung, deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen The Truong, deputy Permanent Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Head of Provincial Member of The eighth National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Van Tri, Member of Provincial Standing Committee cum Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Mrs. Duong Thi Tuyen Member of Provincial Standing Committee cum Deputy Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee; The  representatives of the Provincial Standing Party Committee; the leadership of the provincial Party Committee of Party Building Committee; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and  the others Departments and Agencies in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phung Quang Hung, Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee affirmed that both Vietnam and Japan have long-standing relationships, being strategic partnership for peace of prosperity in Asia. Relations between the two countries have grown increasingly intensive economic relations, politic and cultural exchanges is constantly expanding; understanding between the two countries is constantly increasing. Japan is important leading top of economic partners, is the largest ODA donor for Vietnam. In which, the Vinh Phuc province has good cooperation with Japanese investors in early; Japanese businesses has succeed in investing in the province. Currently, There are 19  Japan’s FDI projects with the total of registered  capital  674 $  million which  is arranged  the second largest registered capital and head of performance capital rate ;Japanese is the largest ODA donor for Vinh Phuc with the total of  loan agreements  approximated $ 113 million; recently , the Nickken Seikkei Company ltd.,  has also helped the province  to complete construction of the master plan   in 2030, vision to 2050 .

On behalf of Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Council and Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Phung Quang Hung ,Chairman Provincial People’s Committee has high appropriated the capacity, technology, effectiveness and contribution of the Japanese enterprises on the development of Vinh Phuc province in particular and Vietnam in general; He would like to  express the deep gratitude to the Japan’s Government, Ambassador, enterprise and Japanese that  has made an effort to cooperate in the last time. He expressed a wish to be supported by Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam as a connecting bridge for the Japanese investors continue to invest in Vinh Phuc province. The Japanese Government continued to spend ODA donor for the project of investment environmental improvement to help the provincial staffs training, public servants, receiving the provincial workers come to work in Japan.

Mr. Saita Yukio expressed his pleasure about the deeply friendly relationship of the two countries Vietnam – Japan and affirmed that, the development of Vietnam contributed significantly to bring several of practical benefit for Japan in recent years. Therefore Japan will continue to invest in Vietnam to perform some major objective for socio economic development, continuing to develop automobile industry, electrical machinery and the other major industry in the Vinh Phuc province.  Counselor’s Embassy also expected that Vinh Phuc province will provide several of open policies in order to Japanese firms invest stronger in the province.

During the meeting, the representative of Japanese enterprises is operating effectiveness  in the province and in Vietnam such as Toyota and Honda Company in Vietnam, Joint Stock NC Network Company has offered the flowers to congratulate the closely relationship between two countries, the representative of the enterprises desired the Vietnam’s Government in general and Vinh Phuc in particular to continue to create the favorable conditions to help the Japanese enterprises effective productive  operation, bringing the benefits for the Company to be able to contribute more for the general development of the province.
