Modern infrastructure and logistics
Transportation: A convenient transportation system includes: roads, railways, waterways, and airways. The inter-provincial and intra-provincial bus system connects villages, wards, towns, and industrial parks. Vinh Phuc has the Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway and National Highway 2 connecting Hanoi with Northern provinces of Vietnam. Vinh Phuc is connected by National Highway 5 to Hai Phong port and National Highway 18 to the deep-water port of Cai Lan.
Logistics: Vinh Phuc has the ICD Logistics Center, the first “super port” of the intelligent logistics network in ASEAN. The ICD Logistics Center serves as a transshipment point for domestic goods, import and export goods in the Northern region. It is located along the Kunming (China) – Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh Economic Corridor.
Electricity: The Vinh Phuc power grid is mainly supplied by the National Power Transmission Grid in the Northern region. The power grid system includes 220 KV and 110 KV high-voltage grids, medium-voltage grids, and low-voltage grids, which are invested synchronously.
Water supply: The total water supply capacity in urban areas is 134,500m3/day. The urban water supply system meets the demand for water supply for daily life and production and business activities of the people. All industrial parks that have gone into operation have water supply provided up to the boundaries of the premises, meeting the demand for production.
Telecommunications: The 5G, 4G, 3G, and fiber-optic telecommunications systems are available across the entire province. The electronic government infrastructure is synchronized, unified, and connected nationwide.
Industrial parks/clusters: Vinh Phuc has 19 industrial parks with a total area of 5,487 hectares and 32 industrial clusters with a total area of over 646 hectares. By 2050, Vinh Phuc province plans to have 27 industrial parks with a total area of over 6,000 hectares.
