Vinh Phuc province increasing support for Taiwanese businesses

On behalf of Compal Vietnam Co., Ltd. delegation, Mr. Director Li Chia Hsin expresses his thanks to the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment for taking valuable time to receive the delegation. Mr. Director then made report on the project implementation in the past time and development plans in the future. Compal Vietnam Co., Ltd has been licensed to invest in Ba Thien Industrial Park, Binh Xuyen, Vinh Phuc since 2007, with a total capital of 67,000,000 USD and a number of 6,000 employees. Currently the company has been building the second factory, which is expected to go into production in the first quarter of 2021. This is the 100% automated factory – the most modern one of Compal Group in the world, specializing in manufacturing products, laptop components and smart phones.

After reporting on the company’s production situation, the company leaders had shared that despite the facilitation of Vinh Phuc authorities, the company still encountered some problems which were required for help from Vinh Phuc government such as: work permit procedures, investment certificate and business registration license adjustment, import and export procedures for goods and raw materials, etc..

Mr. Pham Quang Thang – Deputy Director of the Planning and Investment Department shared his understanding with the company’s opinions, he said the Department of Planning and Investment, being in charge of investment promotion and support businesses,  would be always ready to support the cmpany in order to create the best conditions for production and business in the province. In the coming time, the Department would strengthen coordination with specialized agencies to solve the difficulties businesses were facing.

Ending the meeting, Mr. Li Chia Hsin conveyed his sincere thanks and enthusiastic support from the leaders of the Planning and Investment Department. The company commits to continue developing production scale, create more jobs for employees and become a typical FDI enterprise in Vinh Phuc./.
