Meeting with Korean businesses on the occasion of anniversary of the National day of the Republic of South Korea (3/10)

With the historic and cultural similarities, Vietnam and South Korea have established diplomatic relations since 1992, in the last 23 years ago, the relationship between two countries was growing well and sustainability, and had expanded in the various fields: diplomacy, investment and trade, tourism, culture and education.

Since 2009, Vietnam and South Korea has become a strategic partnership with each other, currently South Korea ranked the leading top among 55 territories and countries have investment projects in Vietnam. South Korea is the leading top among 15 countries and territories invested in Vinh Phuc province. By the end of September, 2015, the whole province has 199 FDI projects, with the total registered investment capital of nearly US$ 3.2 billion, in which, Korea has 86  projects with the total registered investment capital of over US$ 830 million, accounting for 43% of total projects, 26% of capital. Most of Korean projects invested in Vinh Phuc were successful and have great contributions for state budgets, creating more jobs and income for Vinh Phuc people.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc confirmed that the successful investment of Korean enterprises in the province have contributed positively to the development, continuous growth with high speed of the provincial economy Vinh Phuc. He desire Korean investors continued business expansion in Vinh Phuc province to introduce and mobilize other Korean entrepreneurs to invest in Vinh Phuc. To the province, he asserted Vinh Phuc will continue efforts to improve the business investment climate accompanied with enterprises and create favourable conditions for businesses in general and Korean investors in particular in business production efficiency.

The meeting and exchanges take part in friendship atmosphere has contributed to developing better relationship between Vinh Phuc province with Korean firms and leave a  good impression to investors./.
