Investment promotion activities of Vinh Phuc’s mission in Busan of South Korea on April 12, 2014

Mr. Park Soo Kwan – honorary Consul General Division of Vietnam in South Korea worked with investment promotion mission and friendship visited in South Korea

Busan is located in the south-east, is the largest port city of South Korea, and is the second largest city (after Seoul) in Korea. Busan has natural area of 765.64 km2 and a population of about 4 million people, Average GDP per capita in 2010 reached over 22 thousand dollars, ranking 13th in Korea. Busan’s strength is transportation and seaport, Busan is also the busy commercial center, large financial center. In Busan there are 22 universities and research institutes. Externally, Busan twinning relationship with 21 provinces and cities of countries around the world, including Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen province of Vietnam.

On April 12, 2014 at the Honorary Consul General Chamber of Vietnam in Busan, Kyeongnam – South Korea, Mr. Park Soo Kwan – Honorary Consular General cum President of YC TEC Corporation was warmly welcomed and worked with delegation. Mr. Pham Van Vong – Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of Provincial People’s Council was briefed an introduction on Vinh Phuc province and expected to Honorary Consular General Chamber interested and linked  the investors of Busan into Vinh Phuc province. Mr. Park Soo Kwan high appropriated the achievements of Vinh Phuc province  for 17 years and expressed his interested in Vinh Phuc province – is located closed to Ha Noi capital, adjacent to Noi Bai International Airport, there are several favorable condition in investment attraction, industrial development and services; He also said that in the last time, Honorary Consular General Chamber has been more activities in socio economic development in Vietnam through the linking the Korean enterprises invested in Vietnam, in the recent time they made a survey on investment environment in Quang Binh province, Vietnam. YC TEC Corporation had a lot of friendship enterprises operated in several field: processing industry; urban infrastructure construction; entertainment and services; Mr. Park Soo Kwan is pleasure to accept the invitation of Head of Vinh Phuc’s mission Mr. Pham Van Vong – Member of Party Central Standing Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of Provincial People’s Council to visit Vinh Phuc province

The same day, the mission of the province had exposed with enterprises that are the partner of YC TEC Group; through exposure, the mission has explored the information needs of foreign investment of enterprises and provided the basic information of Vinh Phuc province for these enterprises.

Through working visit at this time, under the enthusiastic assistance of Vietnam Embassy in South Korea, Vinh Phuc province – Vietnam had established and opened new cooperation relations to attract investors from Busan city in particular and South Korea in general.
