Production and business activities of enterprises in industrial parks of Vinh Phuc province in the first 6 months of 2022

Up to now, industrial parks in Vinh Phuc province have had 359 projects in production and business operation, including 308 FDI projects and 51 DDI projects. Although the Covid-19 epidemic situation was complicated in the first quarter of 2022, the production and business activities of enterprises in the industrial parks in the first 6 months of 2022 still grew compared to the same period in 2021 because enterprises overcame difficulties, maintained normal production, especially in the last months of the second quarter of 2022, when the Covid-19 epidemic was basically controlled, enterprises returned to a new normal state, a number of large-scale enterprises newly established since 2021 started production and business operations, contributing to increasing the total targets of revenue, export, and payment to the state budget of projects in the industrial parks in the first 6 months of the year to increase significantly compared to the same period in 2021.

– FDI enterprises: Revenue reached 4,194.16 million USD, up 17% over the same period; Export value reached 3,178.12 million USD, up 15% over the same period; State budget contribution reached 2,400.83 billion VND, up 11% over the same period in 2021.

– DDI enterprises: Revenue reached VND 5,583.31 billion, up 5% over the same period; Export reached VND 207.08 billion, reaching 821% over the same period; State budget payment reached VND 239.85 billion, reaching 190% over the same period in 2021 (the first 6 months of 2022 increased due to the production and business results of A My Group, Thai Hoa – Lien Son – Lien Hoa Industrial Park).

Up to now, enterprises in the industrial park have created jobs for 125,225 people, of which 81,502 are local workers, accounting for 65% of the total number of workers working in the industrial park.

* Production and business activities of some main fields

– Automobile and motorbike manufacturing and assembly industry: Revenue reached 282.79 million USD, up 11% over the same period; Export value is estimated at 235.91 million USD, up 8% over the same period; State budget contribution reached 303.65 billion VND, up 5% over the same period in 2021. To date, attracting and creating jobs for 2,181 people, an increase of 244 people compared to December 15, 2021.

– Automobile and motorbike spare parts industry: Revenue reached 248.51 million USD, up 14% over the same period; Export value 108.33 million USD, up 14% over the same period; State budget contribution is estimated at 450.2 billion VND, up 7% over the same period. Up to now, attracting and creating jobs for 9,544 people, an increase of 1,066 people compared to December 15, 2021.

– Electronics industry and electronics support industry: Revenue reached 3,006.64 million USD, up 14% over the same period; Export value is estimated at 2,543.71 million USD, up 12% over the same period; State budget contribution is estimated at 1,133.53 billion VND, up 11% over the same period in 2021. Up to now, attracting and creating jobs for 75,259 people, accounting for 65% of the total number of employees working in FDI enterprises in the industrial park, an increase of 8,409 people compared to December 15, 2021.

– Textile and Garment Sector: Revenue reached 110.45 million USD, up 22% over the same period; Export value is estimated at 100.41 million USD, up 19% over the same period; State budget contribution is estimated at 63.26 billion VND, up 8% over the same period. To date, attracting and creating jobs for 18,628 people, an increase of 2,082 people compared to December 15, 2021.

– Construction materials manufacturing industry of enterprises in the Industrial Park under Prime Group: Revenue reached 37.72 million USD, up 14% over the same period; Export value is estimated at 3.77 million USD, up 6% over the same period; State budget contribution is estimated at 132.11 billion VND, up 9% over the same period. Up to now, attracting and creating jobs for 1,067 people inside and outside the province, an increase of 119 people compared to December 15, 2021.

It is expected that in the last 6 months of 2022, the economic indicators of enterprises in the industrial park will grow compared to the first 6 months of the year, specifically:

– For DDI projects, expected revenue is 5,580 billion VND, budget contribution is 237 billion VND, approximately equal to the first 6 months of 2022; export value is 243 billion VND, up 17% compared to the first 6 months of 2022.

– For FDI projects, expected revenue is 4,530 million USD, up 8% compared to the first 6 months of 2022; export value is 3,464 million USD, up 9% compared to the first 6 months of 2022; budget contribution is 2,545 billion VND, up 6% compared to the first 6 months of 2022./.
