Prime Minister of Malaysian urged business expanding in Vietnam

Malaysian National press agency (Bernama) on April 5 reported that Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has called for Malaysian entrepreneurs working in Vietnam should grasp the opportunities to expand and grow business in this country in the context of relations between two countries is growing.

He also has called on Vietnam’s entrepreneurs responded by expanding investment and enhancing trade relationship with Malaysia.

He said that, Malaysia and Vietnam are willing to enhance the bilateral relationship into strategic partnership, opening the great opportunities for entrepreneurs of two countries to increase investment.

Speaking to the Malaysia’s reporters after presiding over a meeting with the Vietnam enterprises representative and Malaysia in Hanoi on April 5, Prime Minister Najib said that Vietnam is gradually joint-stock of 500 state enterprises; this will certainly opens up more great opportunities of business for Malaysia’s Company.

He advised the Malaysian’s Companies understand the culture and Vietnam business system significantly and seeking good local partners, appropriate in order for convenient legal approval.

According to Prime Minister Najib, based on current investment trends, Malaysia and Vietnam are on sound foundation to achieve the trade turnover target of 11 billion USD in 2015.

He emphasized that the enthusiasm shown by entrepreneurs and investors from Malaysia and Vietnam is encouraged and it may be lead to increasing business opportunities and raising bilateral trade relationship between two countries. Prime Minister Najib said that currently Malaysia is ranked the eighth largest investors in Vietnam, with 455 projects and the total investment capital is approval of 10,4 billion USD
