Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency worked with Humax Corporation (South –Korea)

Mr. Nguyen Tien Hanh – Deputy Head office of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee, Director of Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency chaired the working session, attending this meeting includes department of Planning and Investment, department of construction, Industrial Zones and Management  Board, department of Industry and Trade, department of Labour and war Invalids and Social Affairs, department Science and technology.

Opening meeting Mr.Nguyen Tien Hanh, Deputy Head office of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee, Director of Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency has brief introduced on Vinh Phuc province as well as social economic development situation in the recent year and He affirmed that the province always interested in strengthening the business investment environment to create the most favourable conditions for investors to do business in the province, in which promoting the local investment promotion, so as to the best care for local investors and as a result in 2015, Vinh Phuc province has been ranked at the 4^th position among 63 provinces on provincial competitiveness index (PCI)  conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam (VCCI),

On behalf of the delegation of Humax Corporation, Mr.Bill Jun – Representative in charge of Sales & Marketing Asia, Head of Missions said that Humax Corporation was founded in 1989, is one of the large and prestigious manufacturers around the world in the field of manufacturing digital devices, hi –tech communication equipments. The Corporation’s products have exported over 90 worldwide countries. Turnover of the Corporation was $US 1.4 billion in 2015. Currently, the Corporation has 02 offices and 13 manufacturing plants in countries around the world.

In addition, Mr. Bastian Kim – Director of Global Operations Centre and GM Manufacturing business in Vietnam said that the Company interested in the provincial investment incentives policy for Hi-tech project, the provincial education institutions can train skilled human resources that provides for the  Group’s investment project in Vinh Phuc.

The requirements of Humax Corporation was answered immediately by the  provincial departments and Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency at the meeting. Humax Corporation propose a plans to survey a number of locations in the province’s industrial parks and also proposed IPA Vinh Phuc support to bring  delegates to sightseeing and providing relevant information during the survey, understanding the conditions for investment in Vinh Phuc. Mr.Nguyen Tien Hanh affirmed that will send an officer to support and answer all requirements from investors as soon as possible.

By the end of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hanh appropriated the capacity and reputation of the Corporation and confirms that the Group’s projects are fully consistent with the sector’s calling for investment in the province, after surveying investment environment in Vinh Phuc province, he also expected that the Humax Corporation  will decide to invest in Vinh Phuc in the near future. /.
