The delegation of Arizona State University- Units State visited and worked in Vinh Phuc province

The relationship between Vinh Phuc province and Arizona State University – Units State was established in the Vinh Phuc’s working mission on investment promotion in Units State led by Mr. Chairman of PPC from October 22 to November 5, 2013. Two sites had signed the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the education and training sector. Arizona State University is one of the universities with advance education and the most modern facilities in Units State and around the world; renowned  for training field such as: human resource management, public administrative management, industrial management, services, and tourism. The college has attracted over 75 thousand of students who come from more over 70 countries and territories in which there were several of Vietnam’s students learning and studying in this college.

At the meeting two parties discussed the long term cooperation opportunities in the education and training. Mr. Chairman of PPC has welcomed the visit of the delegation and high appreciated the model and quality of training of the College. About Vinh Phuc province, Mr. Chairman emphasized: parallel with economic development, Vinh Phuc always pay attention to socio economic development, focusing on investing in education and training career. In order to achieve the development goal in the international integration period, Vinh Phuc needs to develop human resources to meet the requirements of industrialization – modernization. Labor force of the province need to be competent in professional and proficient in foreign languages, hereby it is necessary to be basic training; some department needs to acquire knowledge about management from developed countries as USA. Every year the province will appoint a number of personnel resource , key staff of the branch and authorities to the Arizona State University of USA to train on economic management , social management , administrative management , and especially learning English . Vinh Phuc province hope Arizona State University will develop program -specific training content, consistent with the needs of Vinh Phuc and policies are adequate to support long-term cooperation both parties.

On behalf of the delegation from the Arizona State University of USA, Professor Jonathan Koppell expressed joy and thanked the enthusiastic reception for the delegation of the province … Professor will set up a program short-term and long-term, consistent with the training needs of the object groups in each province, in each sector, and also the desired relationship between Vinh Phuc province and University of Arizona State of United States increasingly sustainable development. /.
