Opening Tay Thien Festival in 2014

The provincial and Central Leaders attend the opening Tay Thien festival

Attending the opening festival included: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan member of politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly. Mr.Trinh Dinh Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction Ministry; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, member of the Party central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Women’s Union, representatives of the leaders of departments of the central government.

About the Vinh Phuc province included: Mr. Pham Van Vong, member of the Party central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Phung Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of PPC; Mr. Nguyen The Truong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Party Committee, Head of delegation of the eighth National Assembly; and comrades in the standing committee of Party Committee; and standing Committee of People’s Council and People’s Committee, Fatherland front Committee; and leaders of departments,agencies, districts together with crowded people, tourism from everywhere inside and outside the province to attend.

Tens of thousands of pilgrims travel to sightseeing, worship God in the Tay Thien scenic

Tay Thien is the church where worship the mother of the country Lang Thi Tieu who was seventh Hung King  appointed  as main imperial concubine. She has helped King to eliminate the enemy, expanding borders, unified the country, teaching people to grow rice, to keep the fire in the dawn of the nation.

To prepare for this year’s festival, many items in the area has been restored, embellished, many new buildings were built. Preserving order security are tightened, ensure environmental hygiene. Tay Thien scenic area management board also established a hotline to receive and handle information for people to be reflected.

Number of tourists to Tay Thien Church is constantly increasingly

During the festival takes place in number of traditional games such as: making Banh chung and banh day contest, cooking meal contest, tug, cockfighting, The San Diu ethnic minority folk singing contest.  The special feature of the Tay Thien festival is Soong Co singing lyric, chau van singing. The festival season of this year, almost of programs sorcerer are performing on stage

On March 15, 2014 Tay Thien festival was officially opened
