In early 2015, Vinh Phuc province has attracted more US $ 13 million of FDI capital from Korea
Even in the early days of New Year 2015, there were a number of foreigner investors to study and learn investment environmental and opportunities in Vinh Phuc, especially from Korea, Japan. Most of them were interesting in the field of manufacturing of electronic component assembly production, supporting industry for automobile, motorcycles, engineering, and fabrication.
The result of three working days in early 2015, the province has attracted more US $ 13 million of Korea capital, invested in provincial industrial zone, namely:
Investment certificate granting established Innowave Vina Ltd., Company in Vinh Phuc for Innowave Co.,Ltd (South Korea) to implement project specializes in manufacturing, processing and assembly of electronic components, telecommunications equipment, optical devices for mobile phones and other electronic devices. Total registered investment capital of US $ 04 million; Location of the project in Binh Xuyen Industrial Park of Binh Xuyen district in Vinh Phuc Province; 01 hectares of land use. It is expected that the project will start operating in July, 2015, attracted nearly 100 direct employees with a stable income of US $ 250-300 per capita /month, the ratio of export products of the project is 100%, export value reached US $ 4.2 million per year;
Investment certificate granting to increase investment capital and additional business for DST Vina Co., Ltd, headquartered and factory located in Ba Thien II industrial zone of Binh Xuyen district in Vinh Phuc province. The registered sector are manufacturing, plastic surface, tape for production and mobile phone. As the expansion demand, after market researching and meet the growing need of customer, the market for the products of tapes, film, foam lining, cushions, insulation, waterproof, shock absorber, screen protectors and other accessories for cars, mobile phones and potential electronic devices. Investor has decided to raise additional investment capital of over US $ 9 million (increasing total investment capital for project over US $14 million), the charter capital is more US $ 2 million. (The total charter capital up to US $ 3 million) to import more machinery and equipments and expand the factor to serve production for business in Vietnam and additional business as above mentioned.
The customer of the two Companies is Samsung Group in Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen province and other countries in the world. Vinh Phuc has the advantages in geographical location, close to Noi Bai international Airport, convenient transportation system, Noi Bai – Lao Cai expresses way running through province; Industrial land is suitable for electronic industrial development, precision engineering along with available infrastructure; administrative procedure were solved quickly under one stop service mechanism; the distance from Samsung factory in Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen to Vinh Phuc province is very near, thereby it attracted more satellite investors of Samsung to invest in the province in the recent time.
The additional expansion project of the DST Vina Co.,Ltd and the New investment project of Innowave Vina Corporation were the two first projects of early days of 2015 attracted into province. Even in the first month of 2015 there will have delegates from Singapore, Israel and Northeast Asia to learn investment environment and opportunities in Vinh Phuc province. This is the good News, signalling a New Year success in direct investment attraction into Vinh Phuc province.
