Dai Van Group (Taiwan) learning infrastructure business investment opportunities in industrial clusters in Vinh Phuc
On October 6th,2015, at the office of People’s Council and People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc–Commissar of Standing Committee – Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has met and worked with the Dai Van Group (Taiwan ) led by Mr. Nghiem Phuc Loc – Chairman of Dai Van Group – head of delegation to explore business investment opportunities of industrial clusters infrastructure and building An Duong shoes material plant in Dong Thinh commune, Song Lo district, Vinh Phuc province. Attending the meeting includes leaders of the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Construction, People’s Committee of Song Lo district and Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency.
Opening the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc welcomes Mr. Nghiem Phuc Loc and members of Dai Van Group (Taiwan) visited Vinh Phuc to explore investment opportunities. The Vice-Chairman of PPC said that Taiwan is one of the 15 countries and territories investing in the province, currently Taiwan has 35 projects operating in the province, He appreciated Taiwan projects in Vinh Phuc.
The Vice-Chairman of PPC said that Industrial clusters location in Dong Thinh commune, Song Lo district chosen by this Group was one of the potential areas in order to develop industry in the province. He expected that Group would be interested in developing infrastructure of industrial clusters, as well as attention in social issues in the province, especially creating jobs and income for local people.
Next, Representatives of the Dai Van Group has introduced brief on Group. Dai Van Group Headquarter located in Taiwan, specializes in producing materials Footwear, packaging and processing of plastic products. Currently, the Group has three subsidiaries, a company located in Phuc Kien (China) was founded in 2000, a company located in Quang Dong (China) was founded in 2004, and a company in Brunei was established in 2014 in February 2015, the Group has established An Duong Shoes Material Co., Ltd. in Hai Duong province (Vietnam).Based on the need to use Shoes materials of the World and aspirations expanded the scale of the Group, the Group has studied and evaluated a lot of province in Vietnam and choice Dong Thinh commune of Song Lo district in Vinh Phuc Province as the location for the project. The Group expects to invest the entire infrastructure of more than 18 hectares of industrial cluster Dong Thinh commune, with a total investment of US$ 18 million. The Group is expected to build 03 factories, including 01main factory and 02 supplementary factories making raw materials. After obtaining consent from the provinces, we will quickly deploy and the expected by the end of the second quarter of 2016 will complete the construction of infrastructure industrial cluster. Shoes Material Factory in Industrial cluster is expected to employ about 6000 – 7000 workers and is committed not to affect the surrounding environment.
The professional agencies of the province had made some discussions and expressed his views to support Group’s projects

By the end of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc affirmed that Vinh Phuc province always welcomes and creates the most favourable conditions for Group to invest in this industrial cluster, and Vice- Chairman of PPC given authority for Departments and agencies and related local working closely to quickly implement procedures on investment project, especially infrastructure business investment project of Dong Thing industrial cluster.
