Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Tri attends the CR-V 2020 car factory launch ceremony

In the speech at the ceremony, Mr. Keisuke Tsuruzono, CEO of Honda Vietnam gave praises to Vinh Phuc Province for the support and facilitation they offer to Honda Vietnam themselves and their suppliers as the increase the localization rate of Honda’s automotive products took part.  

The new 2020 Honda CR-V was successfully manufactured and assembled at the Honda Vietnam Factory thanks to the tremendous effort and orientation of Vietnam in developing the domestic manufacture industry. The new SUV is Honda’s strategic product as all 5 generations of the car have received massive cherish from customers. Ever since the world debut in 2016, the 5th generation Honda CR-V has confirmed their position standing as a prominent model in the SUV segment with many prestigious awards. 5th generation CR-V is an aggressive, sporty SUV that offers several technological breakthroughs. It comes with 3 versions which are L, G, E and 5 colorways namely white, silver-gray, titan, black and deep blue. The car has a VTEC turbocharged 1.5-liter engine along with a seven-seater design, making it run smoothly and at the same time extremely practical. The 5th generation’s cumulative sales have reached 26,000 units and proudly claimed the best selling position in the SUV segment with 13,337 cars delivered in 2019. 

According to Mr. Tsuruzono, the tirelessly continuous contribution and efforts of Honda Vietnam not only meet the market demand but also actively contribute to the progressive development of Vietnamese society. The daily hard-work of every Honda Vietnam employee has provided the best quality products, even beyond the expectation of the customers, and asserts the company’s long-lasting pride in making quality products.

Appreciating Honda Vietnam Company for the continuous efforts in developing the domestic automobile industry, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tri emphasized that after more than 20 years of operation, Honda Vietnam has met with great successes, making important contributions to the progress of Vietnam’s automotive industry and Vinh Phuc’s socio-economic development. He hoped that Honda Vietnam Company could overcome any obstacles and keep looking after their workers; continue increasing the localization rate, improving product quality and customer services; pushing production to maintain their position as s leading manufacturer in the automotive industry of Vietnam.
