Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Delegation meeting with Vietnam Embassy and Vietnam Business Association in Italy

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tri thanked Ambassador for warmly welcoming Vinh Phuc Delegation and affirmed the cooperative relationship between Vinh Phuc and Vietnam Embassy in Italy. Chairman Nguyen Van Tri introduced an overview of recent economy and society of Vinh Phuc as well as the advantages, disadvantages and orientation on luring foreign investment into the province.

Ambassador Cao Chi Thien stated that Vinh Phuc was one of the leading provinces in investment promotion, especially actively welcoming foreign investors. The Ambassador also said that the cooperative relations of economy – culture – society between Italy – Vietnam in general and between Italy – Vinh Phuc in particular was in the best phase. Vinh Phuc should make good use of this opportunity to further promote a positive image of Vinh Phuc in order to attract more Italian investors, especially small and medium enterprises operating in the field of agro-processing in Italy. He shared valuable experiences in promoting and developing high-tech agriculture which is a priority of development policies of Vinh Phuc.

Upon highly appreciating the sharing of the Ambassador regarding investment promotion, Chairman Nguyen Van Tri expected the Ambassador to continue supporting Vinh Phuc by introducing, promoting and calling investment. Thank to the Embassy and Vietnam Business Association in Italy, Vinh Phuc sent messages calling on investors, especially overseas compatriots, to do business in Vinh Phuc.

Under the schedule of the next working days, Vinh Phuc Delegation will work with Tuscany Government to organize a seminar “Economy Cooperation between Tuscany – Italy and Vietnam. Investment opportunities in Vinh Phuc” with the participation of Tuscany Government, Vietnam Embassy in Italy and more than 40 corporate guests. The seminar promises to bring an overview of great investment opportunities in Vietnam in general and in Vinh Phuc in particular to Italian investors.
