Investment promotion delegation of Vinh Phuc province worked in Kawasaki city of Kanagawa prefecture in Japan.

Working together with delegation includes Mr. Osamitsu Yamada, Chairman and Heads of departments responsible for industrial development, international relation and domestic industrial development of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kawasaki city and Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, Consoler in charge of investment of Vietnam Embassy in Japan.

Earlier, in 2014, with the introduction of Vietnam Embassy in Japan Doan Xuan Hung, Vinh Phuc province has contacted and worked with Mr. Yoichiro Aoyaki – Senator Kawasaki, Mr. Osamitsu Yamada – Chairman of the Chamber Commerce and Industry of Kawasaki discusses the direction of cooperation between Vinh Phuc province – Vietnam with Kawasaki – Japan. During this trip, Vinh Phuc province is expected to cooperate with the specific aim to attract the business of Kawasaki city to find out business and investment environment of the province in the near future.

At the meeting, Mr. Osamitsu Yamada – Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kawasaki has an overview of the strengths of the city and inform the delegation of the province is expected in May or June / 2015 Kawasaki city will organize a business delegation to Vietnam to study and examine the conditions for investment, to learn investment environment of some local in Vietnam.

Kawasaki is a county-level administrative unit of Kanagawa prefecture in Kanto region on Honshu island of Japan. Kawasaki is one of 15 cities of Japan. Kawasaka has an area of 144.35 km². Currently Kawasaki has about 1.4 million inhabitants. The city stretches (east-west) by 30 km, on the banks of the Tamar river It is located and adjacent to Tokyo and Yokohama, together these cities formed Tokyo capital region. Kawasaki became the city since 1924 and is recognized by the Japan’s Government as the national urban since 1972. The total value of the product of the city put 5,002 billion yen (fiscal year 2010) is equivalent to the total value of domestic production of the Luxembourg nation.

On behalf of delegation, Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee Phung Quang Hung high appreciated the achievement in social economic development of Kawasaki city in the recent years, and specific introduced in detail the advantages and potential ability and provincial investment incentives for FDI investors, and confirmed that Vinh Phuc province is promoting attraction resources for development investment, especially in attracting the FDI capital from Japan and always considering Japan as a potential market for the province to hold  of annual investment promotion. Mr. Phung Quang Hung has invited the leaders of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kawasaki city and business delegations to explore investment environment of Vinh Phuc province in the mission in 2015 and expected to Kawasaki city and Vinh Phuc province will continue to promote cooperation relations, towards the goal of creating the most favourable conditions for businesses to invest in Vietnam in general and Vinh Phuc in particular.
