The Yokohama city – Japan where gather the enterprises in the sectors that Vinh Phuc province need to attract investment

Vinh Phuc province selected Yokohama city – Japan is the place to hold the workshop on investment promotion in this working trip because Yokohama is the city of Kanagawa prefecture of Japan is incorporated cities with a large number of populations. It was also huge port sea and is the commercial centre of Tokyo capital. Yokohama has advantages geographical location, closed to Tokyo Capital, next to the Haneda and Narita airport; move by Shinkansen is very fast and convenient to Nagoya, Osaka, and Hiroshima.Yokohama is the place to gather many sectors with the various scales all over the world, the small and medium enterprises with the developing advanced technology.  Yokohama has 3500 Companies related to information technology, concentrating in the city centre, in which including the major brands such as: Fujisoft Inc, Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd, Sony LSI Design Inc,… Yokohama is also the pioneer of science technology with “Yokohama Research Centre”, “Life Technology Centre” and large enterprises such as: Asahi Glass Co., Ltd, Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corp,…  

Similar to the previous investment promotion workshop were organized in Osaka on April 16,2014, Yokohama enterprises – Japan attended this seminar which has accumulated in systematically  on macro economic situation in Vietnam before having the main information about Vinh Phuc province. In addition to, the enterprises of Yokohama was introduced by representatives of JETRO organization and Small and Medium Enterprise Supporting Center on supporting activities of foreign investment for Japanese enterprises

Mr. Ha Hoa Binh – Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Deputy Standing Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee has introduced the policies and the investment attraction orientation of Vinh Phuc province to the businesses in the workshop, affirmed the highest support of the province for foreign investors. Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency has brief introduction on the advantages and difference of investment environment of the province; the policies and provincial support for investors; the sectors calling for investment. After being provided the information on investment environment of Vietnam and Vinh Phuc province, a number of entrepreneurs had contacted with the number of delegation, requested some information on provincial incentive policies, labour resolving for enterprises, the capacity to meet the services on accommodations, travel, entertainment for the Japanese people working in Vietnam in general and Vinh Phuc in particular… the member of the delegation has answer clearly the question of Entrepreneur in Yokohama.

Some investor will announce that they are plan to Vietnam in order to environment survey and investment opportunities in Vietnam in 2014. The investment promotion of Vinh Phuc province in Yokohama, Japan has successful. The Vinh Phuc mission has completed the investment promotion program and friendly visiting in South Korea and Japan. This is the first investment promotion trip  in oversea in 2014 of the province.
