Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Duy Thanh received and worked with the Counselor for Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Embassy of the Republic of Korea

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Duy Thanh introduced the socio-economic development situation, Covid-19 prevention and control work and investment promotion activities of the province in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the Counselor for Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Korean Embassy would continue to pay attention to and introduce and attract large investment projects in which Korea has strengths and projects that the province needs to attract investment such as construction of factories, secondary projects in industrial parks, construction of industrial park infrastructure, construction of tourism infrastructure, golf courses, trade centers, general services and some other projects related to the fields of health and education. Vinh Phuc province always creates the most favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure, legality, and human resources to support Korean enterprises when investing in the province.

Mr. Kim Yoin expressed his impression of the achievements the province has achieved after 25 years of re-establishment, especially in attracting foreign investment, and thanked the leaders of Vinh Phuc province for their attention and support for Korean enterprises, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Kim Yoin shared the desire to expand investment of Korean enterprises in Vinh Phuc province in a number of projects such as building infrastructure for Phuc Yen industrial park and investing in building infrastructure for urban areas.

Also at the meeting, a number of Korean enterprises introduced their strengths and areas they wish to invest in Vinh Phuc province in the near future, such as construction of transport infrastructure, logistics infrastructure, warehouses, and healthcare and education projects.

At the end of the working session, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee Le Duy Thanh assigned the Industrial Park Management Board and related departments, agencies and sectors to coordinate and provide detailed information to investors. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, many Korean enterprises would decide to invest in the province./.
