Attracting the Russian enterprises invest in Vinh Phuc province

The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Russian Federation – Mr Pham Xuan Son, Deputy Chairman of Commerce and Industry in St Petersburg – Mr Antol Vladimiarovic Xavosep has attended the conference. This workshop has attracted about thirty enterprises in Russian coming.

Political relations Vietnam – Russia has high reliability and constantly reinforced, high-level exchange of delegation happened regularly, creating a powerful force for the development of a strategic partnership between the two countries since 2001. However, the economic cooperation between the two countries is not commensurate with the potential and the relationship between the two parties. Currently Russian Federation has about 80 FDI projects in Vietnam, the project of oil and gas energy exploitation is fundamental; Vietnamese – Russian exports in 2012 reached $ 3.7 billion, striving to reach $ 7 billion by 2015.

Discussions at the Workshop, the business in St. Petersburg in particular, Russia Federation in general is still lack of information about business and investment environment of Vinh Phuc province in Vietnam. Thus this is a great opportunity for Vinh Phuc Province providing directly information about the environment and the investment policy to attract Russian businesses.

At the conference, Mr. Pham Van Vong – Member of Central Party Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council has introduced the overview on social economic and investment environment of Vinh Phuc province, simultaneous answer the questions of investors. The Russian enterprises are interested in the field of tourism development of the province in order to add the tour from Russia to Vietnam; the development cooperation of education training, representatives of general University St Petersburg making a plan to establish Russian –Vietnam University in Vietnam. In the sidelines of Conference, the provincial leaders and Mr. Pham Xuan Son – Vietnam Ambassador in Russian has many activities to interact with associations and enterprise of Russian Federation.

The same day in the morning, the provincial delegation attended the Conference on Trade Promotion and Investment organized by Department of Commerce (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam) in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in St Petersburg. Mr. Pham Van Vong – Member of Central Party Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Council made a speech with the theme “Business Investment in Vinh Phuc of Vietnam – The right choice of Russian investors” is attended and applauded by enterprises and conference delegates./
