Import and export tax revenue attaining 105% of the year plan
Since the beginning of 2020 up to now, approximately 200 enterprises have applied for import and export procedures at Vinh Phuc Customs, of which, there are more than 20 enterprises processing import and export procedures for the first time, mainly those in manufacturing, importing auto components, motorbikes, electronic components, machinery, equipment and materials, production materials for footwear outsourcing, textile production, mechanical production, ceramic tiles, consumer goods, etc.
As of November 30th 2020, Vinh Phuc Customs has received and processed more than 290,000 declarations for import and export registration with tax revenue of more than 4,365 billion VND, equal to 105% of the 2020 assigned plan, increasing by 10% over the same period of 2019.
To achieve the above results, Vinh Phuc Customs has not only promoted administrative procedure reform and modernization in the customs sector but also strengthened professional measures to improve the efficiency of state budget revenues and reduce tax revenue loss from import and export activities of enterprises; strengthened classification and inspection of import and export goods; detected and strictly handled cases of commercial smuggling and fraud according to regulations; coordinated with commercial banks in the province to implement electronic tax collection for 100% import and export enterprises; organized business dialogues to promptly propagate, approach and remove difficulties for businesses in the process of implementing some customs procedures according to goverment regulations.
