Vinh Phuc Delegation of Investment Promotion visiting to Aichi, Japan and working with Aichi government

Deputy Mayor of Aichi Prefecture warmly welcomed Vinh Phuc Delegation and presented an overview of Aichi Prefecture. Aichi is a prefecture in the center of Japanese archipelago and home to 40% of Japan’s industries, especially of automobile and automotive components manufacture, research and manufacture of light aircraft and industrial tools … Aichi produces 1% of total of the world’s gross national product (GNP) and 40% of the value of Japan’s exports. 25% of the Japanese enterprises investing in Vietnam come from Aichi Prefecture in which Toyota Corporation has invested in Vinh Phuc province, Vietnam since 1995.

Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee gratefully thanked Aichi government for spending time with the Delegation and congratulated the development of Aichi Prefecture. At the same time, the Vice Chairman expressed his wish that Aichi government would continue facilitating Aichi’s enterprises to invest in Vinh Phuc province, Vietnam, especially in automobile and motorcycle supporting industry and electronics and computer industry.

Both of Aichi Prefecture and Vinh Phuc province had a number of mutual visits during 2012. In the April 2013 visit, the Mayor of Aichi Prefecture had a discussion with the Chairman of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee regarding issues of mutual concern. This working visit to Aichi Prefecture contributes to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between Vinh Phuc province and Aichi Prefecture in particular or between Japan and Vietnam in general, whereby creating further opportunities for Aichi’s enterprises to explore the investment climate of Vinh Phuc.

On 19 April 2013, according to the arrangement of Aichi Government, Vinh Phuc Delegation visited the Toyota Motor Corporation Takaoka Plant which rolls out various of automobile models, such as the Corolla, IQ … This plant  was established in 1966, has a capacity of  130,000 cars per year, employs 3,200 people and covers an area of over 10 hectares. In manufacturing plant tour, the Delegation was introduced the whole automobile assembly line by conveyors, especially the methods of production organization and quality control.
