BPA and SACYR Group (Spain) continue to learn investment environment in Vinh Phuc province.

At the meeting on July 7, 2015, delegations of BPA & SACYR Group (Spain) led by Mr. with Mr. Radjou Dupont – Board of Director Chairman, General Director of BPA Group has  introduced on sewage and waste treatment technology, this two Groups had deploying it in several countries around the world. Mr. Vice- Chairman of PPC Vu Chi Giang had high appreciated the waste treatment technologies as well as the investment form of Building – Operate – Transfers (BOT) which proposed by two Group.

Based on information researching provided by Vinh Phuc province in the last time, BPA & SACYR Group had come back the local to do the next step of the project such as: Waste component survey; Understanding the processes and technology to collect and waste treatment in Vinh Phuc Province; landfills and location can build waste treatment plant. In the coming time, delegations continue to make the next survey such as geology, hydrology, soil conditions, in the shortest time to complete the report on the feasibility study project to build treatment plant waste in Vinh Phuc province.
According to the introduction of investors, processing system was proposed by Group BPA & SACYR, mechanical pre-treatment plant and biogas energy landfill, with a total investment of 60-80 million, using 250-300 employees, it is expected to start into operation in 2017, the projects include landfill with a capacity of 1,000 tons per day and night; produce energy from biogas with energy from 5-30 MW and factory pre-sorting facility. When the project goes into operation will fundamentally solve the problem of waste, protect the environment in Vinh Phuc province. In addition to waste treatment projects, investors also are introduced to power saving urban lighting project, under the BOT form, investors were deployed in a number of provinces and cities of Vietnam.

At the meeting, the vice president of the provincial People’s Committee said that with rapid economic development speed, a series of new industrial zones was invested in operation, and rapid urbanization rate of the local in recent years, the issue of waste disposal in Vinh Phuc is an urgent matter, not only in urban areas, industrial zones but also in rural areas. As planned, by 2020 Vinh Phuc province will have 18 industrial parks, with the size of 5973 ha and will become the  centrally city in the late 20 of the XXI century, but the current method of waste disposal Vinh Phuc was still temporary, primitive, not thoroughly is buried and burned. Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc emphasized that both projects given by two Groups was feasible and highly significant with the province; Vinh Phuc province will create the best conditions for Groups the early investing in the province. At the meeting, the Vice – Chairman of the PPC has assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Construction the early practical assessment and proposes to the PPC on two projects; Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion Agency continues to be connecting clue and supporting investors.

By the end of the meeting, representatives of Department and agencies had conducted delegation to make survey in Nui Bong landfill and temporary garbage dumps in Khai Quang ward, examine processes and collective technologies, classify and transporting garbage to landfill concentrated in Vinh Yen City.
